JOSEPH was just 13 when he became an ECF kid.  He came to us after his ALL relapsed and he was receiving high doses of chemotherapy. During his time as an ECF kid, he was able to attend school on and off as he felt better.  Unfortunately, after his 3rd relapse, both Joseph and his family decided that they did not want any further chemotherapy treatments as the side effects of the treatments were difficult to endure. Joseph passed away in May 2007.

EVERETT was diagnosed with cancer at the young age of six, and he fought the ultimate battle up until the age of 17.  Image

His first cancer treatment was in 1999, and it wasn't until 2007 that the tumors returned.  A combination of surgery, radiation and chemotherapy kept them at bay until April 2008. Then, according to his mom,  "A third tumor came up that was in a place that couldn't be operated on." Everett was a freshman at Burlington County Special Services School District. He is survived by his parents, brother Joseph and sister Stephanie. He left us on January 21, 2010.
