Thank you for voting in the Liquidnet contest! ECF has been voted the highest allocation of funds in the Liquidnet Local Impact Challenge, thanks to social networking and the votes of our supporters. We received a grant of $35,000 because the employees of Liquidnet believe in the mission of the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation. Seth Merrin, Liquidnet’s CEO, along with Jeff Liu and Zheng Xu, presented the check to Carol Davis, Managing Director, and Barbara Kopel, Central Regional Director, at a ceremony at Liquidnet headquarters on December 16th. Brian Walsh, who organized this contest, told us, "Everyone at Liquidnet is so thrilled to be supporting such a deserving organization!"

ECF & Compassionate Communications
ECF has partnered with Compassionate Communications to bring a new level of support to our families. This innovative venture allows us, for the first time, to connect our donors and our families in a way that protects the families' privacy. Futheremore, for each card sent through this program, ECF receives a contribution.
Compassionate Communications is a company dedicated to connecting people in need of suport and encouragement with compassionate individuals who want to reach out to them. Through a special arrangement with Hallmark Business Expressions (a subsidiary of Hallmark Cards, Inc.), Compassionate Communications combines web-based technology and high-quality greeting cards to provide a simple, fast, and meaningful way to create healing moments of compassion.
Through Compassionate Communications’ unique program, individuals with life-threatening illnesses can receive handwritten “healing cards” from people they may have never met. In the process, affiliated charities receive funds to support patient outreach programs, and our card senders experience the joy of sharing healing words and financial support with people they care about and charities they want to support. Click here to learn how it works.
If you are an ECF family who wants to sign up, contact Ilene Langweil , Case Manager or Carol Davis , Managing Director.
