ECF Future of Care: Leave a Beautiful Legacy
For over 40 years, ECF has been helping New Jersey’s children and families. With your help, we can continue our mission for the next 40 and beyond. Make your legacy a future of comfort and care for NJ children with cancer. By giving to ECF through your will, trust or other financial plan, you can help us continue our work now and into the future.
If you haven’t already, explore the different (and surprisingly simple) ways to leave a legacy by choosing an option below. Please consult with your financial advisor/legal counsel for more detailed information!

Will or trust
Making a gift to ECF through your will or revocable living trust is a simple and flexible way to help kids with cancer for years to come. Have you already named ECF in your will or trust? Please let us know your plans. We’d like to thank you for being amazing! See sample bequest language below.

Financial accounts and retirement assets
A gift of your retirement assets, such as a gift from your IRA, 401(k), 403(b), pension or other tax-deferred plan, is an excellent way to make a legacy gift to ECF. If you are like most people, you probably will not use all of your retirement assets during your lifetime. Why not allocate the remainder to philanthropic giving, and help us bring comfort and relief to families struggling with cancer?

Life insurance
ECF accepts gifts of life insurance either as the beneficiary of a policy or as the sole owner and sole beneficiary. Either way, we can use these gifts to provide free assistance to families across New Jersey.

Charitable gift annuity
A gift that pays you income for life. You can realize tax savings and reliable annual income while donating to ECF.
IRA
Turn your savings into a legacy of kindness for kids with cancer. If you make a contribution to ECF through your IRA, you’ll be making a difference, and you’ll get great benefits, too!
